The foreign minister said Imran Khan in his talk mentioned the need for cooperation to stop cross border terrorism between two countries.
LAHORE- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 23rd April 2019) Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is of the view that opposition criticism over Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement is irrelevant.
He made these remarks during his talk at a local tv show on Tuesday. He rejected the opposition criticism, saying they were unable to understand the wider angle of Mr. Khan’s statement.
Qureshi said Imran Khan in his talk mentioned the need for cooperation to stop cross border terrorism in addition to telling them that Islamabad would not allow its soil to be used for any terrorism. He added that PM also clearly said Pakistan security chief will sit with his Iranian counterpart for a dialogue.
“I think PM Khan said nothing when he talked about terrorism in two countries,” said the foreign minister.
