Pakistan's Financial Index Improving Day By Day: Durrani

ISLAMABAD, Dec 7 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Dec, 2018 ) :Special Assistant to Prime on Media Affairs Iftikhar Durrani Friday said that Pakistan's economic index was improving day by day.
The PIA, PSM, Pakistan Railways, Utility stores, and other organizations had to face financial crunch due to weak policies of previous government of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), he stated while talking to a private news channel.
The government had to face the financial losses in the said organizations due to lack of interest and mismanagement of previous governments, he added.
The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government, after coming in to power, had tackled these challenges with bold steps to streamline the system.
He added, Pakistan's financial index was showing upward trend after a long struggle of the present government working under dynamic and hardworking leadership of the prime minister.
The government was focusing on improving the governance besides taking measures for upgrading the life of poor. The poor people who do not have the facility of shelter, he said, the PTI government had provided them a better place for sleeping and food.
Iftikhar Durrani said the concept of 'State of Madina', would be ensured here to achieve the objectives.
