Police Recover 139 Liters Liquor From Six Suspects In Bahawalpur

The police have recovered 139 liters liquor during raid in different areas of the district and arrested six suspects.
The police spokesman said that acting on a tip-off, police parties of different police stations conducted raids at dens in several areas and arrested 10 suspects. He maintained that the arrested accused included six liquor sellers, two drug peddlers and two gamblers.
He said that the police teams also recovered 139 liters of liquor, material used to manufacture liquor, hashish, cannabis and cash. "The police recovered 139 liters of liquor, 1290 gram hashish, six kilogram cannabis and material used to manufacture liquor," he said, adding that the police also recovered cash from two gamblers.
The police lodged FIRs against the accused and shifted them to police stations where they were being interrogated.
