PTI Government To Hold Everybody Accountable: Usman Dar

Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme, Usman Dar Friday said accountability of all was the main slogan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) menifesto in the general election and the same agenda had been adopted by the government.
Talking to a private news channel, he said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was a completely independent and sovereign national institution, and it was not under the government's control.
Usman Dar said all the cases and inquiries against Sharif family were started during the tenure of previous government, and if there was any person sitting in the power corridor facing NAB cases, he would also face the same accountability process. "Whenever there is accountability, there is a resistance by the corrupt politicians," he added.
Replying to a question regarding the country's development, Usman Dar said that without accountability of the corrupt elements - including politicians, businessmen and bureaucrats - the country could not progress.
He said when the PTI government came in to power the country was going through huge economic crisis.
Responding to another question regarding the prime minister's recent foreign visits he said, the country's economy was again on the right path after Imran Khan's successful visits to Saudi Arabia and China. Both the countries had assured their complete cooperation in the development of Pakistan, he added.
Replying to another question, Usman Dar said the PTI's government was focusing on enhancing trade volume with all the neighbouring countries.
