Raja Basharat Promises New LBs System Soon

Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat Saturday said that the provincial government would introduce a new Local Bodies (LBs) system soon and abolish the old one to serve the people in a better way.

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat Saturday said that the provincial government would introduce a new Local Bodies (LBs) system soon and abolish the old one to serve the people in a better way.

He stated this after inaugurating the 'SIAL school' in Model Town area here. Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Akhlaq was also present.

Raja Basharat said the government had prepared the final draft of the new LB system, which would soon be approved by Prime Minister Imran Khan as well.

He said the government was striving to raise the living standard of people by ensuring early and smooth provision of all basic facilities to them at their door-steps.

He said that the incumbent government would provide basic health and education facilities to the people on priority. The law minister said that a corruption-free Pakistan was an aim of the incumbent government.

He ruled out any differences between Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, saying, all of them were working like a team for development of the province and prosperity of its people.
