Saudi crown prince concludes two-day visit to Pakistan
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th February, 2019) Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has departed after his two-day visit to Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa saw him off at Nur Khan Base on Monday.
Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day visit.
The Saudi Crown Prince was accorded rousing and warm welcome on his arrival in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Cabinet received the Saudi Crown prince and his high-powered delegation at Nur Khan Airbase. The prime minister himself drove him to the PM house, where he received a guard of honour.
Not only that, Riyadh and Islamabad signed agreements worth $20 billion were signed during the visit of Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan.
A lunch was arranged for the special guest in President House on Monday where he called on President Dr Arif Alvi.
The prime minister and the Saudi crown prince reached Aiwan-e-Sadr in a traditional horse drawn buggy.
The two were taken to the President House amid royal protocol. The prime minister and the Saudi crown prince looked happy as they conversed in the buggy.
President Dr Arif Alvi conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan to Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman at President House.
Nishan-e-Pakistan is the highest civilian award to be conferred by Pakistan to anyone.
