Sinohydro Corporation China, Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group C.Ltd To Execute Toren More Hydropower Project

Sinohydro Corporation China and Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group Co. Ltd. China are to take up the execution of 35 MW Toren More Hydropower Project soon.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Nov, 2018 ) :Sinohydro Corporation China and Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group Co. Ltd. China are to take up the execution of 35 MW Toren More Hydropower Project soon.

This was transpired in a meeting between Pakhtunkhwa Hydel Development Organization (PHYDO), Sinohydro Corporation China and Sichuan Energy Industry Investment Group Co. Ltd. China, says a press release received here other day.

Adviser to the KP Chief Minister on Energy and Power, Himayatullah Khan presided.

The Chinese Companies had already submitted their proposals to the PHYDO KP and a Letter of Intents (LOI) will soon be issued to them.

The meeting discussed issues pertaining to the finalization of said LOI and it was decided that a meeting of the board of PHYDO will be convened next week wherein an approval of it and other such development schemes will be sought.

Besides others the meeting was attended by Secretary Energy and Power and senior officers ofPHYDO. The site is located on river Chitral for which the provincial governmenthad already signed MoUs with the Chinese hydro companies.
