Work On AstroTurf Project To Start Soon

Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum has said that work on laying of AstroTurf at Hockey Ground would start soon as Rs 74 million funds of another scheme has been transferred for the project.
MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2018 ) :Divisional Sports Officer Rana Nadeem Anjum has said that work on laying of AstroTurf at Hockey Ground would start soon as Rs 74 million funds of another scheme has been transferred for the project.
While talking to APP here on Thursday, Rana Nadeem said that they had written a letter to Secretary Sports Punjab for transfer of funds of a stadium into AstroTurf project, which had been approved by the competent authority.
He said that the Punjab government had allocated over Rs 74 million for establishment of sports stadium at Miani Rest House, adding that the Irrigation Department was not issuing a no objection certificate (NOC) for the project despite various reminders.
He said that the secretary sports had given approval for transferring funds and work on AstroTurf project would start soon.
He said that Rs 40 million had already been allocated for AstroTurf project and added that the project would be completed with Rs 74 million allocation.
