Cricketers Meet Maulana Tariq Jameel Before Departing For England

A dinner was organised arranged by Chief selector of Pakistan cricket team and legendary middle order batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq for the players on Sunday.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd April, 2019) The Pakistan cricket team is all set to travel to England on April 23 to participate in the 2.5-month long tour which includes series against England and the World Cup.
However, before departing for the cricketing tour, the national players met religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel.
A dinner was organised arranged by Chief selector of Pakistan cricket team and legendary middle order batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq for the players on Sunday.
Maulana Tariq Jameel was also invited to this dinner.
All rounder Mohammad Hafeez while sharing the pictures with Maulana, thanked Inzamam-ul-Haq for the dinner and organizing Maulana Tariq Jameel’s bayan.
“Always kind & Helpful Molana Tariq Jameel sb , Thanks @Inzamam08 bhai for dinner & Bayan of Molana sb,” he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, National Cricket Team and senior management of PCB have held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad.
The meeting continued for an hour and it was held a day after the Pakistan Cricket board announced the world cup squad.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan spent over an hour imparting advice to the cricket team. He told the team members about his cricketing experience,” read a statement.
He encouraged the players, telling them that their skills, sportsman spirit and conduct could bring glory to the country.
