Five Teams Of KP To Take Part In All-Pakistan Inter-Club Volleyball

Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association Khalid Waqar has said that five teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would take part in the forthcoming All-Pakistan Inter-Club Volleyball Championship to be commencing from November 22-25, 2018 at Sports Complex Sialkot, Punjab.

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Volleyball Association Khalid Waqar has said that five teams of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would take part in the forthcoming All-Pakistan Inter-Club Volleyball Championship to be commencing from November 22-25, 2018 at sports Complex Sialkot, Punjab.

He said the Pakistan Volleyball Federation have taken a good initiative to provide opportunities to the players associated with the clubs across the country and that is why they have formed five clubs with players from across the province took part in the trials before short-listing them for each of the club.

He said the Pakistan Volleyball Federation have also allowed departmental players to play in the Championship from their respective clubs so that the players would get an opportunities to play side-by-side with the top players of the country.

Out of the Inter-Club Championship, Khalid Waqar said that a selection committee nominated by Pakistan Volleyball Federation would also short-list players for the camp training. The winner of the Inter-Club Volleyball Championship would be awarded Rs. 0.5 million as cash prize while Rs. 0.3 million would be given to the runners-up team. The PVF would also provide all T.A and DA to the teams.
