G-8, Ghauri Clubs Win Matches

G-8 United Club and Ghauri Club earned victories in the Jashan Azadi Football Tournament played here at two different venues.

At G-9 Rover ground, G-8 United beat United Club by 2-1 goals. In the 29th minutes of the first half, Fardeen scored first goal for G-8 United Club. G-8 United took lead 1-0 goal at the end of the first half. Abdullah Ansari doubled the margin 2-0 in the 18th minutes of 2nd half. Babar of United Club reduced the margin 2-1 in the 30th minutes.
Fardeen of G-8 United was declared the man of the match. Muhammad Sharif Chaudhry supervised the match and was assisted by Dilawar Hussain and Hamad Khan while Naveed Iqbl was the match commissioner.
At T&T ground, Ghauri Club defeated Sohan Club by 5-0 goals. Hassan Shireen and Adil scored two goal each while one goal was scored by Moin. Hassan Shireen and Umar Fahad of Ghauri Club were declared as man of the match and best goalkeep respectively. Muhammad Ibrahim supervised the match and was assisted by Ali Nawaz and Chaman Khan. Shahid Sadique acted as match commissioner.
Islamabad Football Association, Vice Presidents, Muhammad Zaman and Syed Maqbil Hussain Naqvi, Secretary, Syed Sharafat Hussain Bukhari, former Information Secretary, Pakistan Football Federation, Rana Tanveer Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
