Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University Of Agriculture To Mark 2019 As Sports Year

Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) will observe 2019 as sports year by addition of more games into annual sports gala.

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) will observe 2019 as sports year by addition of more games into annual sports gala.

MNSUA Vice Chancellor Dr Asif Ali said this at the opening ceremony of three-day Sports Gala, here on Monday.

He said that it was a regular feature of the university, adding, "Our traditional sports Kabaddi will be focused as it is on decline owing to introduction of new games." He said that for survival of this game, they would have to arrange more competitions of Kabaddi.

The sports gala consists of cricket, badminton, football, tug-of-war and chess etc.

Matches of cricket, hockey, badminton, tug-of-war, chess and other sports were played among different departments on first day.

These were organized at Sports and MRI grounds simultaneously wherein a large number of students participated.
