Pakistan athletics team to leave for Sri Lanka on May 4

A twelve-member Pakistan men and women athletics team will leave here on Friday for Sri Lanka to take part in the 3rd South Asian Junior Athletics Championships being held from May 5 at Colombo.

LAHORE, May 3 (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2018 ) :A twelve-member Pakistan men and women athletics team will leave here on Friday for Sri Lanka to take part in the 3rd South Asian Junior Athletics Championships being held from May 5 at Colombo.

All the member countries of South Asian Athletics Federation (SAAF) will participate in this mega event, a spokesman of the Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) said on Thursday. Pak team comprises eight male and four female athletes, he said.

Following are the members of the team, Abdul Mueed,Hamza Ahmad , Raza Hassan , Waqar Younas ,Abdul Razzaq, Waseem Raza, Muhammad Shahzad, Ghulam Mohy Ud Din and (Female athletes) Noor Ain Jabbar, Faiqa Riaz, Esha Imran and Tehreem Alam . He said AFP is expecting good performance from our junior athletes.The team will return home on May 8.
