Farhan Hashmi found Huang Liang an easy rival to record an impressive 11-3, 11-2, 11-4 victory.

Compatriot Abbas Zeb registered an emphatic triumph, thrashing Chenwun-Lin 11-2, 11-7, 11-0 in the second encounter.

In the third contest, Haris Qasim overcame Cho Ching by ascore-line 11-3, 11-2, 11-1.

Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in their second fixture.
