'Shark' Nibali wins Milan-San Remo classic

Italy's Vincenzo Nibali of the Bahrain team won the first big classic race of the season the Milan-San Remo in northern Italy on Saturday.

San Remo, Italy, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2018 ) :Italy's Vincenzo Nibali of the Bahrain team won the first big classic race of the season the Milan-San Remo in northern Italy on Saturday.

The 2014 Tour de France winner, nicknamed 'The Shark', cut through the sprint favourites after the 294km race to snatch victory ahead of Australian Caleb Ewan and France's Arnaud Demare.
