SSU Commandos Win 22nd , 49th, 79th Positions In International Shooting Competition

The commandos of Sindh Police Special Security Unit (SSU) won 22nd, 49th and 79th positions in the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018 held in Guangdong, China.

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Nov, 2018 ) :The commandos of Sindh Police Special Security Unit (SSU) won 22nd, 49th and 79th positions in the 2nd World Police Service Pistol Shooting Championship 2018 held in Guangdong, China.

As many as 73 countries took part in the competition and Pakistan was ranked 17th, said a statement issued here on Monday.

SSU commandos Arslan Anwar, Abdul Shakoor and Abdullah won 22nd, 49th and 79th positions respectively.

The team was selected by Director General Pakistan Police sports board after trial and training camp, which included Team Leader Inspector Chaudry Shabbir (Sindh Police), Staff Inspector Mehmood Ahmed (Punjab Police), Coach Sub-Inspector Samiullah Niazi (Punjab Police), Shooter ASI Faisal (Punjab Police) while Shooters Arslan Anwar, Abdul Shakoor and Abdullah (SSU Sindh Police).
