WADA Has All Data From Moscow Lab Needed By Sports Federations To Verify Past Results- IOC

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) now has all data from the Moscow lab that will allow International Federations to verify results of past competitions, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said on Tuesday
"We take note of the decision taken by the WADA Executive Committee. What is really important is that WADA now has all the data, which can be properly verified so that justice can be done for the athletes by the International Federations (IFs)... The data also enables the IFs to correct the results of past competitions," the IOC statement reads.
The IOC said it had taken note of the decision by the WADA Executive Committee which said that the Russian anti-doping authority, RUSADA, had to continue complying with the terms outlined back in September to stay accredited.
The Olympic Committee added, however, that obtaining lab data would "allow RUSADA to work at full strength, to efficiently and sufficiently test all athletes and contribute to clean sport."
On September 20, 2018, the WADA Executive Committee voted to reinstate RUSADA as compliant with the World Anti-Doping Code following a doping scandal. The agency required Russia to provide access to the data and samples of Moscow anti-doping laboratory by December 31, 2018.
