Argentine Lawmaker Seriously Wounded by Gunshot Near Congress in Buenos Aires - Reports

BUENOS AIRES (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 09th May, 2019) Hector Olivares, a representative of La Rioja province in the Argentine lower house, was seriously injured in a shooting near the Congress' building in central Buenos Aires on Thursday, while an official who accompanied him was killed, local media reported.

According to the TN tv channel, Olivares was rushed to hospital in serious condition.

The shots were reportedly fired from a vehicle on Thursday morning.
