British PM's Top Aide Quits After Election Disaster

LONDON, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2017 ) - One of British Prime Minister Theresa May's chief advisors announced his resignation Saturday after a crushing electoral setback left her authority in tatters.
Nick Timothy, one of two chiefs of staff on whom May relies heavily, said he took responsibility for the Conservative manifesto for Thursday's vote, in which the centre-right party lost its parliamentary majority.
