German Chancellor Merkel, French President Macron to Meet in Berlin on Sunday

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th November, 2018) German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron will meet on Sunday in the German capital of Berlin.

The meeting will be held amid progress reached between Berlin and Paris on narrowing positions on a number of European issues such as budget proposals as well as creation of an EU army.

The negotiations will also focus on the Brexit issue, on which Brussels and London have recently reached an agreement that sparked hot debates in the United Kingdom.
