Over 1,000 Servicemen From CSTO To Take Part In Combat Brotherhood-2018 Drills - Statement

Over 1,000 servicemen from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states will take part in the Combat Brotherhood-2018 drills near the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, the Russian Central Military District said on Tuesday in a statement.
YEKATERINBURG (Russia) (UrduPoint news / Sputnik - 16th October, 2018) Over 1,000 servicemen from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states will take part in the Combat Brotherhood-2018 drills near the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, the Russian Central Military District said on Tuesday in a statement.
The Combat Brotherhood-2018 drills will be held on October 30 - November 30.
"The drills will involve 1,115 servicemen and 300 vehicles, including 25 aircraft. Russia will be represented by the servicemen of the Central Military District as part of the peacekeeping battalion, units of reconnaissance, aviation, military police, logistic support and mobile field command posts.
Participants of the drills will train preparing and conducting a peacekeeping operation in the Central Asian region, in a state, which is not a CSTO member," the statement said.
The CSTO is an intergovernmental alliance focused on military cooperation. The organization includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
