Russia, Argentina Sign Road Map For Media Outlets Cooperation

BUENOS AIRES (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th February, 2019) The Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Argentinian Federal System of Media and Public Content signed a road map for the development of cooperation between media outlets of the two countries.
The document was signed by Alexey Volin, the Russian deputy minister of Telecom and Mass Communications, and Hernan Lombardi, the head of the Argentinian Federal System of Media and Public Content, on Wednesday. The road mad is a part of a memorandum of understanding, signed by Volin and Lombardi in the Argentinian capital on Monday.
The document reiterates mutual interest of the parties in exchanging content between state-run tv broadcaster.
It also expresses interest in broadcasting football games, kids' shows, cartoons, movies, series, shows on tourism, culture, football and science and technologies.
The parties have also expressed their interest in exploring opportunities for joint creation of radio shows, as well as including shows, produced in Russia, in schedules of Argentinian broadcasters.
Additionally, the road map envisages increasing cooperation between state-run news agencies of the two countries.
Lombardi said that the document had detailed the specific ways of cooperation between the agencies of Russia and Argentina in line with the agreements signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Argentinian counterpart Mauricio Macri.
