MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th September, 2018) Moscow and Washington are discussing the possibility of a new meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and US National Security Adviser John Bolton as dialogue at this level must continue, deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told Sputnik on Monday.
Patrushev and Bolton previously met in Geneva in August to discuss a wide range of issues on the bilateral and international agenda.
"There is an understanding between Moscow and Washington about the need to continue contacts at the Secretary of the Russian Security Council - the US National Security Adviser level. As for concrete schedules and where this meeting could take place, here I have no such understanding," Ryabkov said.
"But we are certain that the dialogue must continue," he stressed.
