Trump Cancels Planned Trip To World Economic Forum In Davos, Switzerland - White House

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 18th January, 2019) US President Donald Trump has canceled his planned trip to attend the annual World Economic Forum conference in Davos, Switzerland, next week because of the ongoing government shutdown and deadlock with Congress, White House spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
"Out of consideration for the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay and to ensure his team can assist as needed, President Trump has canceled his delegation's trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland." Sanders said on Thursday.
