Two Pilots From Su-34 Collision Delivered To Military Airfield - Russian Defense Ministry

The two Russian pilots who were rescued after two Su-34 jets collided in Russia's Far East region have been transported to a military airfield on a helicopter, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday
"Two rescued pilots were transported to the airfield of the Eastern Military District by a search and rescue helicopter.
At the airfield, they are receiving necessary medical assistance," the ministry's department of information and mass communications said in a statement.
Earlier in the day, two Su-34s had collided during a training exercise over the sea in Russia's Far East. The pilots ejected from the aircraft and were later found during a search and rescue operation in "satisfactory" condition.
It is still unclear how many pilots were on board the jets. A search and rescue operation is underway.
