US Forces Kill 37 Militants in 2 Airstrikes in Somalia - AFRICOM

US forces killed 37 al-Shabab militants in two airstrikes near Debatscile, Somalia, the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) said in a press release on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 20th November, 2018) US forces killed 37 al-Shabab militants in two airstrikes near Debatscile, Somalia, the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) said in a press release on Tuesday.

"In coordination with the Federal government of Somalia, US forces conducted two (2) airstrikes in the vicinity of Debatscile, Somalia," the release said.

"We currently assess the first airstrike killed twenty-seven (27) militants... We currently assess the second, separate airstrike killed ten (10) militants."
