Nahyan Bin Zayed Visits Training Camp Of Emirati Teams Participating In Special Olympics World Games

H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has visited the training camp of the national teams participating in the Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics World Games, which will be held in Al Ain Club for Disabled, to follow up and inspect preparations for the international event
AL AIN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 07th Mar, 2019) H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has visited the training camp of the national teams participating in the Abu Dhabi 2019 Special Olympics World Games, which will be held in Al Ain Club for Disabled, to follow up and inspect preparations for the international event.
The global event will be organised from 14th to 21st, March.
During the visit, Sheikh Nahyan was briefed about the preparations of the athletics, basketball, badminton, table tennis, judo and cycling teams.
He expressed his great admiration for the technical and preparatory programme for the teams before the launch of the world event in the UAE and for the first time in the middle East that mirrors the sports and humanity rapprochement in the homeland of tolerance.
He also hailed the high morale, steadfastness, determinations of everyone in the camp. At the end of the visit, the delegation of the Special Olympics World Games presented a souvenir for Sheikh Nahyan.
