13 Gamblers Netted; Rs 42,240 Cash Stake Money Recovered In Rawalpindi

Police have arrested 13 gamblers besides recovering Rs 42,240 cash stake money, 19 mobile phones and other items from their possession
According to a police spokesman, Race Course police acting on a tip-off conducted a raid in its jurisdiction and held three gamblers namely Mati Ullah, Museeb Ali and Ali who were allegedly involved in betting on cricket match.
Police recovered Rs 37,540 cash stake money, laptop, LED, nine mobile phones and other items from their possession. A case has been registered against accused while further investigations is underway.
In another operation, Airport police on an information raided in Raheemabad area and arrested 10 gamblers namely Asad, Imran, Aurangzaib, Rafah, Usama, Afaq, Ahmed, Adil, Tanveer and Munawar involved in betting while playing Ludo and recovered Rs 4700 and ten mobile phones.
