
4th Indus Pharma Tennis Championship To Start On August 27

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Augst,2016) : The fourth edition of Indus Pharma National Seniors & Juniors Ranking Tennis Championship will roll into action from August 27 at Karachi Club. Leading players of the country will show case their talent and technique in the event which will also help in determine their national ranking based on their showing in the event, said Muhammad Khalid Rehmani ,tournament director and referee of the competition on Wednesday. Events to be contested in the seven-day championship are Juniors 18 Singles, Junior Girls 18 Singles, U 16 Singles, U 14 Singles, U 12 Singles, U 10 Singles, Juniors 18 Doubles, Seniors 35 PLUS Singles, Seniors 35 Plus Doubles and Seniors 45 Plus Doubles.
Sindh Ranking Events: Men s Singles, Ladies Singles.
Soft Tennis Events: Open Singles and Juniors Singles. Indus Pharma , Karachi Tennis Association ,under the auspices of Sindh Tennis Association and Pakistan Tennis Federation will organize the event which will further help in promoting tennis in the country, he added. prize Money is Rs.
50000 which will be distributed among the players taking part in the junior part of the championship. An organising committee comprises , Presisdent, Sindh tennis Association Kh. Saeed Hai, Sr.
Vice President: Gulzar Firoz,Vice Presidents: Altaf Hussain, Asad Ali Bhagat ,Tournament Director & Referee: Muhammad Khalid Rehmani Associate Secretary ,Farha Riaz ,Saqib Hussain, Media Coordinator and Sarwar Hussain has been formed to hold the event in a befitting manner.
