62 Cases Against Pharma Companies Referred To Courts

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2017 ) : Provincial Quality Control board (PQCB) of Primary & Secondary Health Department has referred challans against 62 pharmaceutical companies to drug courts for selling unregistered and substandard drugs.
The decision was taken in the 166th meeting of PQCB held at the Committee Room of the Department at Birdwood Road on Monday. A total of 96 drugs cases of different pharma companies were presented and meeting decided to send 62 cases of unregistered and substandard drugs to the drug courts.
Meanwhile, the PQCB issued warning to 11 companies and adjourned 10 cases till the next meeting. It also discharged seven cases and issued inspection orders in two cases of pharma companies.
