Anti Terrorism Court To Take Up Abidi's Derogatory Language Case On April 18

An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Tuesday directed the prosecution for completion of arguments over the statement of accused in a case pertaining to usage of derogatory language by the former Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Faisal Raza Abidi against the former chief Justice of the Supreme Court
The ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand was listening to the case.
During the previous hearing, the ATC had recorded the statement of Abidi about the allegations leveled against him.
Abidi, in his statement, had maintained that being a good citizen, he believed in respect of judiciary adding he was the front liner in independence movement for judiciary.
He said according to the Constitution, he respected orders of all the courts either lower or higher.
