ASTORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Nov, 2017 ) :Gilgit Baltistan Legislative Assembly Member and Parliamentary Secretary Health Barkhat Jamil has said that owing to people-friendly policies of the incumbent GB government, the development works in all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan were in progress with good pace.

Talking to media persons here he said in Astore district work was in progress on about 60 development projects including Rattu Power Project, Perishing Power Project and other projects of people welfare.

He further said efforts were on to complete these projects within stipulated time frame of five year and the quality of work would also be ensured. He said that Astore was the gateway of the region due to its geographic location adding its beauty and significance would be maintained at all costs.

Astore, he said was also attract full destination for tourists and added that government of GB was planning to provide extra facilities to them for making their visits more worth full.
