Civil Society, Parliamentarians Term Budget Balanced, People Friendly

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Oct, 2018 ) :The PTI's Punjab government has won the hearts of people by presenting a balanced and pro-people budget for the fiscal year 2018-19.

These views were expressed by citizens from different walks of life while talking to APP here on Tuesday.

Umar Aftab Dhilon, MPA, said the PTI government had presented the best ever budget in the prevailing situation of the country and it would provide relief to people.

He said it was the success of the Punjab government that it had announced a pro-poor budget despite several challenges.

Zaheer Butt, a social worker said the main challenge confronted to business and agriculture sectors was energy shortfall, adding the government deserved full credit and appreciation for allocating a good amount for energy sector in the province.

He said proper utilization of the allocated amount would surely help in improving the socio-economic condition of the masses.

He said the incentives introduced for industrial and agriculture sector would help the government to boost the economy of the province.

Ashfaq Faraz, another social activist said the PTI government had presented the ever best budget in the prevailing situation and hoped that the budget would provide relief to the people belonging to all walks of life.
