ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -6th Sept,2016) : With the advent of Zil Haj, children and women rush in markets getting momentum especially on garments and shoes shops to complete shopping for the forth coming Eid ul Azha.
Rush at shops is comparatively lesser than Eid Fitr as priority of the people is to get a suitable sacrificial animal but children have no compromise on their demand for looking trendy, unique and stylish among their friends, relatives and peer.
Garments shops seen over crowded with children of all age groups who came with cherished faces trying to grab every attractive dress or shoes of their choice in their custody. Girls also visited jewelry, cosmetic shops finding matching accessaries with their costumes to give a perfect look while women seen more interested in cutlery, grocery and cook books as an essential part of Eid preparations.
Aslam Shadab, an government employee who was shopping with his family in G-9 market (Karachi Company) said, children joy is source of happiness for him and his wife so they fulfil their demands first rather than buying anything for themselves.
"There is almost two month gap between Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha so I prefer to bear all other expenses like sacrificial animal, children clothes, house hold demands first and then decide to buy new clothes if budget allows as last year clothes can be a good option", he commented.
Asma Shadab, his wife added that at this Eid family gatherings at lunch and dinner are so common so she bought recipe books, stylish crockery and other house hold stuff. Shahzad Khan, a utensil shop owner at Aabpara market said, at Eidul Azha, his sale increased to double with high demand of new dinner sets, cutlery items, utensils, iron rods for bar b que and coal stoves etc.
