Hotels Directed To Submit Record Of Guests With Police Stations On Daily Basis

ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : Islamabad Police have directed the owners of all guest houses and hotels to maintain complete record of guests as well of those coming to meet them and to submit this entire detail with the relevant police station on daily basis.
To ensure effective implementation on National Action Plan, Islamabad police have decided to enhance vigilance and owners of all guest houses and hotels will not allow any guest to stay without registration with them.
SP (City) Zubair Sheikh conducted meeting with owners of hotels and guest houses in his respective area on Tuesday and briefed them about security measures.
It was asked to maintain complete detail of the guests including their Names, mobile numbers, addresses, CNICs and the reason to visit Islamabad.
It was also asked to collect details of those coming to visit the guests along with the vehicles’ registration numbers.� All these details would be submitted with relevant police stations on daily basis, he said adding that patrolling police officials would also conduct surprise checking of hotels and guest houses to check the data about guests.
The security officials and managers of the hotels and guest houses assured complete cooperation with police in efforts to maintain peace in the city.
