Int'l Workshop On 'Pathology Of Avian Diseases' Concludes

The three-day international workshop on "Pathology of Avian Diseases" organized by Department of Pathology of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in collaboration with Charles Louis Davis and Samuel Wesley Thompson DVM Foundation, USA, concluded here on Thursday.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2018 ) :The three-day international workshop on "Pathology of Avian Diseases" organized by Department of Pathology of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore, in collaboration with Charles Louis Davis and Samuel Wesley Thompson DVM Foundation, USA, concluded here on Thursday.

UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani chaired the concluding ceremony of the training and distributed certificates among participants while resource persons of training Prof Dr Corrie Brown from the University of Georgia, USA and Vet Pathologist and Adjunct Professor at CL Davis and SW Thompson Foundation Dr Tony Alves, Chairman Department of Pathology Prof Dr Asim Aslam, Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and a number of faculty members, professionals from different institutions of across the country were in attendence.

Prof Dr Masood Rabbani presented the vote of thanks. In his address he lauded the organisers for arranging informative workshop for professionals. He said the aim of the workshop was to focus on pathogenesis of disease for various poultry diseases, and illustrate through case-based examples and activities.
