Murtaza Javed Abbassi Congratulates Newly Elected Bodies Of HPC, HUJ

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Tuesday congratulated newly elected office bearers of Havelian Press Club (HPC) and Havelian Union of Journalists (HUJ).
ABBOTTABAD, Feb 20(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2018 ) :Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi on Tuesday congratulated newly elected office bearers of Havelian Press Club (HPC) and Havelian Union of Journalists (HUJ).
Murtaza Javed Abbassi in his message to the newly elected President of HPC Haroon Ishaq, Secretary-General, Syed Abbass Trimzi, Senior Vice President Abid, Vice President Abdul Qudous Shah, Information Secretary Zulqarnain Haider Shah, said their election was evidence of the trust and confidence of journalists' community in their leadership.
The Deputy Speaker also congratulated new office bearers of HUJ including president Qadar Baksh, Secretary General Saqlain Kazmi, Senior Vice president Zahid Qureshi, Vice president, Malik Gulfraz and secretary Information Qazi Uzair and members of governing body, he also extended his warmest felicitation on their success.
He was confident that the new office bearers of HPC and HUJ would work for welfare of journalist community and freedom of press. Murtaza Abbassi said that freedom of expression was essential for strengthening democracy in the country.
He expressed the hope that under the new leadership, the problems of Journalist's community would be resolved. Deputy speaker also prayed for their success during their tenure.
