Newly Elected KUOWA Delegation Meets KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi

A delegation of the newly elected Officers Welfare Association of the University of Karachi led by its President Dr Muhammad Hassan Auj called on the KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at his office on Tuesday
KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2021 ) :A delegation of the newly elected Officers Welfare Association of the University of Karachi led by its President Dr Muhammad Hassan Auj called on the KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at his office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, various issues were discussed in detail. The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi assured the KUOWA delegation of his full support.
Meanwhile, congratulating the newly elected officials, the KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi informed the delegation that capacity building sessions and training programs to improve the skills and efficiencies of the employees would be carried out as soon as the Covid-19 situation improves in the city.
"We all have to play our part for the development of the University of Karachi so that we can make further progress.
I hope that all of you will perform your duties on time,"he said.
He mentioned that during a recently held Syndicate meeting a decision has been made that officers who have been appointed through the selection board would be considered eligible for the elections of the Syndicate.
The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi said that the Syndicate Elections would take place soon. He further said that despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the salaries of the employees of the University of Karachi are given on time as well as the best health facilities were being provided to everyone.
The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi said that since he has taken the charge of the vice-chancellorship, he has appointed the spouse/child of the employees who have died during the service so that he or she would not face financial difficulties.
