Schedule Issued For South Waziristan TDPs Return

TANK JAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Jan, 2017 ) : The political administration and the Pak-Army have issued schedule for return of the remaining Temporarily Displaced Persons(TDPs) to the native areas of South Waziristan agency.
According to new schedule for the year 2017, sources of the political administration of South Waziristan said, from January 1 to 2 Bhattani tribe of Jandola would return to their native areas while displaced families of Sarwakai tehsil would repatriate from January 3 to 8.
The sources added that arrangements had been completed for people of Thayar za Tehsil to go back to their areas from January 16 to 22 while residents of Ladha, Kanigaram and Makeen would return from January 23 to January 29.
The political administration directed the TDPs to register themselves for repatriation at the registration point at Khargai according to the schedule to avoid any inconvenience. Tribesmen have expressed complete satisfaction over the new schedule and urged the administration to send teams for survey to the remaining areas in order to remove sense of deprivation among the people of the concerned areas.
