
Steps To Be Taken To Streamline Traffic System In City

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd August, 2016) : The Commissioner Karachi, Ejaz Ahmed Khan, has decided to undertake steps of immediate nature to help streamline the traffic system in the metropolis. He was presiding over a meeting in his office here on Wednesday in which the DIG Traffic was directed to make immediate efforts for easing the pressure of traffic in the metropolis. It was also decided that the Traffic Police would take strict action in the case of violations of one-way traffic rules and that the traffic rules would be effectively implemented.
The meeting also reviewed the problems that arise owing to heavy traffic. It was decided that due to movement of heavy traffic, the flow of traffic should not be affected and the traffic accidents should also be checked. The meeting also decided that attention should be paid making traffic law effective to help improve the flow of vehicular traffic in the city. A meeting of the Traffic Management board has been convened on Thursday.
