TCKP Arranges Number Of Tours Activities To Highlight Different Forms Of Tourism In KP

PESHAWAR, Nov 8 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 08th Nov, 2016 ) : Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) has arranged a number of tours and activities to highlight different forms of tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the schedule of the events in the upcoming months has announced by TCKP, including visit of US Sikh delegation, Safari Train Excursion, River Indus Crossing, Desert Safari Race, Water Rafting, Skiing and many other outdoor activities.
In this regard, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Tourism & sports Tariq Khan at the Conference Hall of Head Office TCKP. Updating about the Event Calendar for the months of November and December, Tariq Khan was briefed in the meeting that to promote Adventure tourism in the region five Paragliding activities at Akora Khatak are scheduled for the upcoming months whereas to highlight religious tourism, a Sikh delegation from United States of America is visiting the Sikh religious shrines and holy places in walled city Peshawar.
Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is honoring to welcome them at Peshawar Museum warmly.
Apart from the aforesaid activities, Train trip for families, Indus River crossing to highlight Sports tourism, Motorbike rally to Shiekh Badin and Desert Safari race are conducting as well.
Participation of the well-known Artist from Hazara in Art Calligraphy Painting Exhibition in Moscow at CCI Fabrika and Dawn Life Style Expo are the part of the monthly event calendar as well. All the upcoming activities will be organized under the flag of TCKP in a befitting manner.
Such activities will help in the promotion of tourism as well as income generation of the province. Tariq Khan directed the TCKP officials to organize all the activities in a befitting manner. He further said that we enable our guests to experience with hospitality and tremendous values.
Directing to the officials, Secretary Tourism said that Skiing activities at Malam Jabba will also be organized by Tourism Corporation to project Winter tourism in the province. Furthermore, he said that these activities play a big role to attract people from around the world.
