They believe that more and more Muslims should live abroad so the negative world opinion about Islam and Muslims could be changed.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 20th March, 2019) The family of Haroon Mahmood, one of the victims of Christchurch attack, does not feel afraid of anything.
They believe that more and more Muslims should live abroad so the negative world opinion about islam and Muslims could be changed.
Haroon Mahmood’s wife said, “We would not get tired but they (terrorists) will get tired. How many times will they kill and how many people?”
Haroon’s mother said that her son had gone to the mosque happily only to never come back.
She said that her daughter-in-law was at her friend’s house with her kids when the incident happened. Then we received a call that Haroon’s passport and CNIC copy is required for his identification.
All of my kids, nieces and nephews, were waiting for any news about Haroon that may be his name was included in missing persons.
The children tried hard to get some information but to no use, she said, adding we got the last news in the morning that Haroon has been martyred.
“Haroon had told me that his graduation is on May 3 and asked if I would attend it if he sends the ticket. I had said that I will definitely come as it will be a proud moment for me,” the mother said.
The dejected mother further said that we were planning for his graduation and later his visit to Pakistan on Eid but he departed with a greater degree.
New Zealand was struck by two deadly attacks in Christchurch on Friday, with 50 people killed and another 20 seriously injured after gun assaults on mosques as Muslims worshipped.
A total of nine Pakistanis were martyred in the attack.
