Traders To Field Candidates In Next General Election

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2018 ) :Trade bodies of the city on Sunday decided to field their own candidates in the next election to present their recommendations for welfare of the community in Parliament.
This was decided in a meeting in which trade organizations including Anjuman Tajraan Dalgaran Bazar,Ganjmandi,Gandam Mandi,Namak mandi,Chaudary Bazar,Narankari bazar and Naswari Bazar of the city participated.
President Anjuman, Dalgaran Bazaar Sohail Akhtar demanded of the district administration to shift the wholesale markets from the city areas to outside to ease traffic congestion adding the provincial government had formed a committee in this regard.
Prseident Gandam mandi Hafiz Anwar said that it was our genuine demand to relocate the wholesale market as they faced problems in transporting goods to northern areas, Kashmir as well as within the city due to the traffic congestion.
President Anjuman Tajran Ganjmandi Shahbaz Alam said that the traders had had a large vote bank and would field their own candidate to get their problems solved.
