Cricket: Rain Disrupts New Zealand, Bangladesh Test

WELLINGTON, , (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jan, 2017 ) - Rain forced players from the field 50 minutes into the first Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Wellington on Thursday, with the visitors 39 for one.
Although New Zealand opted to bowl first on a green wicket with a howling wind, Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal was unaffected by the conditions to reach 36 off 37 balls when the rain set in.
Mominul Haque was not out on two, while Imrul Kayes fell in the fourth over for one. Showers and wind gusts up to 120 kilometres per hour (75 miles per hour) are forecast for much of the day.
