NTC Headquarter Wins Team Event Championship

Defending Champions National Telecommunication Cooperation (NTC) Headquarters Tuesday retained the 16th NTC All Pakistan Inter-Regional Badminton Tournament title beating Central Region by 2-1 here at Pakistan Sports Complex on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2019 ) :Defending Champions National Telecommunication Cooperation (NTC) Headquarters Tuesday retained the 16th NTC All Pakistan Inter-Regional Badminton Tournament title beating Central Region by 2-1 here at Pakistan sports Complex on Tuesday.

However, Central Region remained 2nd while NTC North Region captured the 3rd position in team event. On the 2nd day in team events, In veteran double's final Nauman Khalid Qureshi and Hamidullah Khan beat Fasih-ur-Rehman and Saeed Ahmed in straight set and won veteran double championship. In Inter Telecos team events NTC A and NTC B both teams, mobilink and ptcl enter semi-final by defeating U-Fone, PTA, Apollo and Huawei, respectively, said a press release.

In Men's double semi-final, Muhammad Ali and Hasan Raza of Headquarter beat Ibrar-ul-Hasan and Munir of Central Region whereas Kamran and Safdar of Central Region beat Safdar Hussain and Zafar of Headquarters.
