Pool Matches Of Inter-Tehsil District Under-16 Tournament Underway

Oys and Girls Tournament are in progress at different locations of Rawalpindi District

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :Pool matches of Inter-Tehsil District Under-16 Boys and Girls Tournament are in progress at different locations of Rawalpindi District.

Boys and girls badminton teams of Rawalpindi qualified for district level competitions, volleyball Boys team of Kallar Syedan, volley ball Girls team from Rawalpindi, table tennis Boys from Rawalpindi and table tennis Girls team from Gujar Khan qualified for District matches.

District Sports Officer Rawalpindi talking to Radio Pakistan said, District Administration intends to promote sports events at grassroots to explore new talent.

He added that under-16 boys and girls sports tournaments would provide opportunity to youngstersto prove their skills and talent.

He said Punjab government is striving hard for promotion of education, health, transport, clean drinking water and sports facilities in the province.
