All Hospitalized in Russia's Magnitogorsk After Blast in Stable Condition -Health Official

The condition of all the injured people who have been hospitalized in the Russian city of Magnitogorsk after a recent collapse of a residential building there is currently assessed as stable, with a positive dynamics registered, the head of the local health-care department, Elena Simonova, told reporters on Saturday

MAGNITOGORSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 05th January, 2019) The condition of all the injured people who have been hospitalized in the Russian city of Magnitogorsk after a recent collapse of a residential building there is currently assessed as stable, with a positive dynamics registered, the head of the local health-care department, Elena Simonova, told reporters on Saturday.

As many as 39 people were killed after a block of a 10-storey apartment building partially collapsed in Magnitogorsk on Monday, supposedly due to a natural gas explosion.

"There are currently four patients in the city's hospitals three adults and one child. Their condition is stable, and it is monitored every day and even every hour. We communicate with the Russian Health Ministry and its department in the Chelyabinsk Region to discuss treatment methods according to medical care provision protocols," she said.

Simonova specified that all the patients were in regular departments, not in intensive care departments, and they had a positive dynamics, with two of them already preparing to leave hospital within several days.

She added that local authorities were following the dynamics of health condition of two patients who had been taken to hospitals in Moscow and Chelyabinsk.

"Their condition is stable as well, and, most importantly, they are in safe professional hands," Simonova said.

She went on to say that none of other injured had requested medical aid.
