Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which he expressed his condolences over a partial collapse of an apartment building in the city of Magnitogorsk on New Year's Eve that left dozens killed, the Kremlin said Friday.
"Benjamin Netanyahu has extended his condolences to the government and people of Russia over the tragedy in Magnitogorsk," the message published by the Kremlin read.
A total of 39 bodies have been pulled from under the rubble in the Urals city of Magnitogorsk after a section of a 10-storey building, housing over 100 people, crashed down after a gas blast on December 31.
