Luhansk Militia Says Ukrainian Troops Violated Truce Twice Over Past Day

LUHANSK (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 24th March, 2019) Ukrainian troops have twice violated the ceasefire in Donbas over the past 24 hours, a representative of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination told Sputnik on Sunday.
"There were registered two attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on March 23, 2019," the spokesperson said, adding they used grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and rifles.
The new truce came into being on March 8, but the militias and the government in Kiev have traded blame for its violations. They are also bound by a ceasefire deal signed in the Belarusian capital in 2015 under the mediation of France, Germany and Russia.
