Morgulov, Biegun to Discuss Situation on Korean Peninsula in Moscow on Thursday - Source

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 17th April, 2019) Russian deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov anf US Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun will hold consultations on April 18 on the situation on the Korean Peninsula, a source in the Russian Foreign Ministry told Sputnik on Tuesday.

"Stephen Biegun will arrive [in Moscow] to take part in regular consultations with Igor Morgulov. The consultations will be held the day after tomorrow," the source said.

He added that the discussion will focus on the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The US Department of State earlier announced that�Biegun would visit Moscow on April 17-18 to discuss the denuclearization of North Korea with Russian officials.
